Nancy Thiel, founder and principal of Thiel Architecture + Design is a licensed architect and interior designer. An AIA member, she holds NCARB certification and LEED accreditation. Prior to starting her firm in 2004, Nancy honed her craft working with luminaries in the design world - Michael Graves, Robert A.M. Stern, Thierry Despont, Clodagh - and was a Studio Leader at Rockwell Group. Nancy received a B.A. in Theater at Penn State and was a dancer and choreographer before earning her M.Arch from Syracuse University. Nancy is a founding board member of Operation Design, a not-for-profit founded on the belief that great design creates a better environment for learning.
