An accomplished chef and cookbook author, Nicole is no stranger to the foodservice industry and has witnessed firsthand the amount of perfectly good food that gets discarded on a daily basis. As the Fairfield County Site Director for Food Rescue US, Nicole is putting that food to great use, as well as utilizing her industry to give back to those in need.
The mission of Food Rescue US is to end food insecurity through the rescue and direct transfer of nutritious, fresh foods. The innovative technology app and volunteer-driven platform enable them to maximize the quality and quantity of food delivered to hungry families.
